Tudor Shocks Us All With The New Black Bay Chrono ‘Pink’

This week (actually, yesterday) Tudor announced a partnership with David Beckham's own soccer club Inter Miami. The Tudor ambassador is responsible for both the creation of this expansion team, and for choosing its signature and recognizable color scheme: pink. When the announcement was made on Monday, none of us had any suspicion of a watch riding hot on its heels. But here we are, 24 hours later, looking at a brand new chronograph: The Tudor Black Bay Chrono "Pink."

Now while this watch seems like a logical follow-up to the partnership with Inter Miami, it's not just about soccer… or football (or even fútbol). Another signature Tudor ambassador, Taiwanese musician Jay Chou is also a well-known lover and wearer of the color pink so this new watch looks to be a collaborative inspiration from two global faces of the brand.

What we have is a standard Black Bay Chrono (in some ways) by way of the 41mm steel case, the two subdial displays, the date window at six o'clock, the screw-down pushers, the snowflake hands, and COSC-certified Calibre MT5813.
