Credor Launches Eichi II 50th Anniversary Limited Edition GBLT996 Watch

When it comes to the top brands under the Seiko Group, we often think of Grand Seiko, but in reality, Credor is no less impressive. Guiduo was born in 1974 and is internationally renowned for its Spring Drive self proclaimed wristwatch from the 2000s and Eichi wristwatch from 2008. Now, the brand is launching a limited edition 50th anniversary edition based on the Eichi II watch released in 2014.

The new watch has a diameter of 39 millimeters and a thickness of 10.3 millimeters, with a compact ratio. The case is made of 18K gold and has been polished to create a soft curved shape. It is equipped with an anti glare sapphire crystal mirror and a perspective back, and has a waterproof performance of 30 meters.
This watch, especially the "glass colored" or "lapis lazuli colored" porcelain plates, are handmade, assembled, and polished by a team of elite watchmakers from the Micro Art Master Workshop in Yanji City. The golden time mark on the plate, the Credor logo at 12:00, and the word "CREDOR" below are all hand-painted achievements, paying tribute to the Edo era's "glazed gold color" craftsmanship. Guiduo uses porcelain glaze technology to create a profound, rich, and gradual dial, showcasing Japanese tradition, handicrafts, and unique temperament.

Through the pivot table back, you can enjoy the built-in Spring Drive 7R14 movement. The round holes and screws of the ruby bearing are polished with a mirror finish, while the blue steel screws are polished to create a sharp contrast with the brushed bridge plate. The top of the clockwork box is hollowed out with a floral pattern of a platycodon, which is the city flower of Yanjiri. The Spring Drive 7R14 movement is equipped with a unique torque recovery system that provides 60 hours of power storage, indicated by the blue steel pointer on the back of the watch.
